I ordered the item as a gift and didn't open the packaging; instead I gave the package to my nephew and let him open it up. The package of the product itself was torn up and it looked like someone had already put together the fire engine because it had glue marks on it. The wood was ruined/had dents/scratches on it, and some of it was discolored a yellow-brown color because of the previous use of glue. The seat of the product is really small and the "fire engine" part of it is narrower than I expected. I regret presenting it before attempting to put it together because I can't necessarily take a gift away from a child. Now I'm just concerned whether it is the safest thing to give him (the front handles did not set in correctly either)--on top of that it is not very aesthetically pleasing because it arrived already worn out. I probably would have returned it too if my nephew hadn't opened it himself.

We got this for our 11 month old for Christmas. He's a little short (he's 30 inches tall) to put his feet on the rocker part, but he can easily rock the motorcycle while he's sitting on it. It's just about the right size for our 2.5 year old. This is a great and adorable rocker and I'd suggest this to other parents.
